I don’t believe so. The filters are totally clean and there’s no smoke smell. I’m at a loss. Sort of thinking of returning it but it’s sucks because I got a great deal.

I would just replace those parts since it really bothers you but good old hot soapy water might do the trick.
I wouldn't use bleach though....maybe vinegar.
That one cpap.com sells is relatively cheap.

I thought for sure I saw the gasket for sale...let me see if I can find one.

Soak the gasket in cheap vodka, then re-install.
It should be fine--and delicately scented with "the water of life".

Should I not be worried about mold issues? Think I should I fully disassemble it (I mean, like, unscrewing it completely)? The whole thing kinda put me off tbh.

Resmed has the answer online: 1 to 1 vinegar to water soak. I would avoid bleach as I would not want to breathe it. There are cheap replacement parts for your machine on Amazon new, and ebay has some as well.

There will be nothing in the machine as the moisture from the humidifier that has caused the mold goes out the vent at the back of the machine not further into the machine.

So basically the air outlet is as far as it can get, then? I think I will leave the machine on for a while and just let it air out without the mask on. I'll turn off the humidity. Cant hurt, right?

Decided to just buy one instead of go through insurance again when I didn’t comply correctly and lost mine. Anyway, got it through a friend. I have all my own tubes and masks and water tanks and all that. I think the only thing I don’t have that can get dirty is the air outlet. Is that worth buying new or can I just disinfect the crap out of it? Anything else I should pay attention to or need to clean? Additionally, will my info and settings be on the SD card i took out of my old machine? I really appreciate your help!
There are instructions in the back of the clinical manual, follow them.

I had a good bit more trouble with the Air10 I took apart, compared to the S9, I can take one of those apart and put it back together in about 5 minutes.

Well, as long as there’s nothing in there that’s growing mold or needs to be disinfected I’m happy lol.

There's nothing in there for mold to grow on, just hard plastics, silicone and a little sound deadening foam. And all that goes through the inside of the machine is filtered room air. The humidity is only added right at the end before the air exits the machine.

Thanks, that puts me at ease. Alright then, I'll disinfect and go for it! Woo.
