Is it actually safe to seal your lips? Can't stand my mask and getting new next week, so taping is an option if safe.
Lots of people do it.

Do you think that we'd say "tape your lips" if it wasn't safe?
Wasn't trying to hurt feelings. Sheesh

They weren't.. but ... I occasionally tape, and others do it routinely... really, we wouldn't suggest you do anything that might be harmful... well, ok, in rare instances. but there's PLENTY of warnings and precautions listed *first*.

I might have to do that. Going in to the DME's office next week. Hoping to get a Bleep as all the hard plastic from the full mask is causing major cheek/sinus pain (stabing). Taping would be better than all that pain during the day and being woken with the stabbing pain.

Yup yup... just remember, when you go to pull it off in the morning... peel it slowly and carefully, and keep it as 'low' as possible, so the tape is going 180 degrees from where it's stuck... if that makes sense... you're less likely to peel off a bit of skin that way. go slow!
