I tried the N30I then switched to the P30i Pillow which are better for me. But periodically I switch back to m y P10 mask because it has less mass.

thanks realshelby. I will definitely buy them & try it. If I like them better, I will inform my DME of the change. It's good to have both options anyway.

I love the nasal pillows. I agree, much more comfortable than the dreamwear nasal pillows. I have had the pillows for a couple of weeks now, but wanted to make sure they were perfect for me before responding. My N30i mask has now been turned into a P30i mask. Now to let my DME know of the change before my next delivery in January.

Glad you liked the pillows version!

I am still very satisfied with the P30i. It would be hard to improve it. Which coming from me means something.

Take care to not overtighten these. I had to adjust mine the other night after a haircut. I wear a "doo-rag" to help with mashing my hair down where the tube goes across. With the haircut it was all a bit too loose. I got it a bit tighter....and like when I was first experimenting with this mask it was too tight. Leak rate went up quite a bit! When I first put it on...it feels like it might be too loose. But when the pressure hits it is just right. And it stays in place better, I assume the pillows have more room to move before dislodging.

Curious - I tried the P30i to see if I could get a better seal - but I found the pressure on my nose uncomfortable. I've been relatively happy with the n30i though I find it sometimes feels like the headgear is trying to slip off my head.
Appreciate those commenting on frame size - I am in a standard frame because as far as hat size goes, I am usually in a large or xl - I may well order in the smaller frame to see if that improves the seal. I had also planned to try the dreamwear - I understand the cushions are softer and don't have the hard plastic that the resmed has that I suspect gets bumped around by my pillow (speaking of pillows, I am planning on buying a new pillow too to see if I can get one that is more accomodating to the mask)

I use the small frame size in both the Dreamwear & N30i/P30i. The "standard" frame size was too big & the frame shifted causing leaks. I am Female, 5ft1. Besides the small frame, I use the small cushion size in all masks I have tried. Wearing the Ruby chinstrap has helped the headgear stay in place. I put the chin strap on first, then the mask over it. The fabric of the Ruby chinstrap helps hold the mask in place. But changing from the medium to small headgear also helped quite a bit.
