OMG Rainmom the same exact thing has been happening to me. The new design is terrible. Yes the sound the the among of air that comes out is less but the quality of restful sleep is not the same. Now when I inhale a can feel a slight bump out of the mask. I feel like I’m being suffocated and I never felt like this when I had the old design.i just bought an old style elbow from eBay and when I got it, it was the new style.i was so excited when it came because I was looking forward to using it that night. I think I have to get a different kind of mask. I’m not using my mask enough all night and I feel it. I think there should be a choice between full vent and baffled vent!

If you were happy with the old style elbow, simply take the elbow off of your old mask and put it on the new one. If you don't have one, send me a PM and I will send you one.
