whats you alls pressure setting? I agree the EPR makes it a lot more comfortable, without it on, I feel like I am having trouble exhaling .. :o
my min is 15.2 and max is 20. epr 3.

as you can see, not everyone uses it. (just the smart ones!)

now, chunky, you KNOW i didn't mean that.

I read an article also where some "sleep tech" advocate against using EPR. … I will use it if it helps!

I prefer the nasal mask as it lets me use a lower pressure but I think the one I have may be too small - I have the AirFit N10 Nasal Mask (regular size) and it seems it may not be wide enough and blocks some airflow, is there a fitting guide for which sizes to use ?

Same guide as for the Nano. I suppose because the actual cushion itself is similar.

It is sure that we are not inhaling CO2. Oxygen keeps us alive not the carbon dioxide.

Room air contains about 0.04% CO2.

Carbon dioxide plays an important role in keeping us alive. You might be interested in reading this article.
CO2 in its normal range from 38 to 42 mm Hg plays various roles in the human body. It regulates the pH of blood, stimulates breathing, and influences the affinity hemoglobin has for oxygen (O2). Fluctuations in CO2 levels are highly regulated and can cause disturbances in the human body if normal levels are not maintained.

Quite true, but it's not good to inhale too much of it, it's considered toxic.

I've heard anecdotes about people (non-CPAPers) getting headaches by pulling the covers over their heads and breathing air with built-up CO2. In most cases, the people woke up in the early morning and pulled the covers up to block out the daylight.

I certainly would, because I feel noticeably worse when my AHI is over 2.
an AHI like the one you had last night is like having someone poking you with a sharp stick every 13 minutes or so, all night long.

Got the AHI down to 3 AHI lastnight, feeling better today... not sure if I should mess with any settings further or just stick to this path for now.. 8)

Which settings did you mess with most recently, and when? if your AHI is slowly settling down, then let it keep doing that.
