Sleeping position can sometimes make a big difference...
give it a few nights to see if there is a pattern here.
If you start having any nasal symptoms like an allergy attack or cold coming on..your nasal mucosa might lot like being dried out...so just watch out for that. Some people actually do better with minimal or even no added moisture. As long as your nose is happy its fine to go with minimal to none added moisture and trust me...if your nose gets unhappy about it you will know it.
Humidity needs and preferences are highly individualized.
The change to EPR at 3 might also be a factor....you just were more comfortable with it at 3 and maybe more comfort equaled sleeping better which in turn reduced the SWJ stuff from arousals.
So 3 things might have been a factor individually...and it is also possible that a combination of all 3 things played a factor.
