If you didn't get the machine until after Jan...then yes..the machine likely has someone else's data on it and that's what you grabbed.
No wonder we were confused.
They sold you a used machine.
See this thread for what we need.

hello pugsy, I am posting two pics. first is the current set up that generated 3.4 AHI last night and the second is what I just changed it to (minimum pressure of 5), now comes the chart from last night. on 8/16, I will post another chart with minimum pressure of 6. Please take a look and let me know if I should provide more data and what that is please. THe chart is from last night? I will post another detail tomorrow for minimum pressure at 6.

Since most of your events are CAs, increasing the pressure will not help them?. If you are using 5 as a fixed pressure I would turn ramp and EPR off....Did we determine what machine you are using? .... Doesn't look like an Airsense..AirStart?

please see my other posting and the charts that I posted.
Sorry, can't be bothered to go digging around for peoples other topics after they ignore the request in the "PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE POSTING" to keep everything in one thread.
Please go back and read that thread, including the link to "how to arrange your data and post a screenshot".

LSAT,
Thanks for your response. for the purposes of my understanding, how did it show that most my events are CA?
one more think, I had an eye opening late last night that my machine has 3 pressure settings:
Start pressure: set to 5
min pressure: set to 5 (changed to 12.4)
Max pressure : set to 15 (prescription)
So, this is not a fixed pressure. So, my question is should I still turn off the EPR and ramp. My machine is resmed air 10.

No...your machine isn't set to fixed mode.
The confusion came about because you posted a fixed cpap mode report dated in Jan when you didn't even have the machine.
It was someone else's data but we didn't know that until you told us you got the machine a couple months later.
Would you please review this thread again

and don't omit the stuff on the left side. It's important.
Events graph...CA/centrals are flagged. It's easy to eyeball the count and see that most of the overall events were centrals/CAs.
If you had included the stuff on the left side...we wouldn't have to eyeball it.
More pressure isn't the fix for centrals/CAs.
There is a chance that some of your events are flagged when you aren't asleep.
Watch all the videos here.

If it is determined that those CAs are real asleep events.... might turn off EPR or reduce it but I am betting that most of them are arousal/awake related. Especially the cluster at 4 AM right after the big leak. I suspect the big leaks woke you up and those CAs are awake related.

Ok. I was confused about what to post and will post today another graph that will show more. I will also run with EPR of 1 instead of 3.

excuse me, lsat for butting in.
tony? take a look at the chart you posted. see the part at the top called the "event flags"? now, see all the marks going across? each of these marks tell us just what events make up your particular ahi for that night.
what lsat is referring to is the row of marks that are identified on the left side with the designation "ca". ca=centrals.
does that make sense?

Hi Everyone,
So my machine is set like the following:
maximum pressure: 15
min pressure: 6
start pressure: 5
That's the pressure I slept with yesterday and this isn't getting any better. I am afraid to change the min pressure to 5 in fear of having a worse day at work tomorrow. With The above 3 pressure setting for last night, 3 cups of coffee, I just wanted to just go home and sleep since I couldn't stay up. The pressure for last night is posted below. Please help with any suggestions that I can try. I was hoping that if I get on this therapy, I will leave a normal life, but it doesn't seem to be the case so far. One thing in the positive direction so far is that I don't fall asleep driving home after work anymore. At least it hasn't happened recently. I get off work around 3 or 4 . I don't know if it is because of the coffee though the coffee does not help in the office.
