I know choice of masks are subjective and all, but still —
I’ve got AirFit F20, and today I got the AirTouch F20 cushion. I haven’t tried it for a whole night, but I tried it for 15 minutes or so, and I like it so far except that I feel that it would work better sleeping on my back. Still, it’s probably three times as comfortable as the AirFit F20 silicon cushion – I hope it lasts!
I wonder if any of you have any suggestions for FFM masks for sleeping on the side. I’m especially curious about recent masks such as AirFit F30 and DreamWear. Would these masks be more comfortable for side sleeping than AirTouch F20? How come that there is no AirTouch-like cushion for F30?
I've tried all of the above, including Dreamwear. I'm a side sleeper. Very little leaks + most comfortable (win win) is AirTouch F20. Been over 2 months and still my best mask so far. I also used Amara View for over a year, was good for a long time but started getting chronic leaking.
When it feels uncomfortable on my head, those nights when I can't fall asleep, if I lean my face over the side of the pillow that seems to help enough. I've also tried numerous pillows, felt like I was on a pillow quest, and never found a "perfect" one. Ended up going back to my original regular old pillow.

This is very useful – thanks!
I bought a
new bed pillow yesterday; it’s possible to remove some of the “stuffing” that it has inside. The indentations on the sides seem to work well with the mask.
I slept with the AirTouch F20 for the first time tonight, and although I found it more comfortable than the silicon cushion it had some leaks. Does it need to be fitted tighter than a silicon cushion mask?

I don't think I adjusted it tighter than a silicone mask? It's snug but doesn't feel like my face is smashed. Not sure how to answer your question!

I see. The right tightness probably depends on pressure, sleep position, etc. I managed to adjust it in a way so that it is comfortable, and there doesn’t seem to be any leaks.

Progress! Glad to hear!
For what it's worth, I clean this mask with a "baby wipe" (gentle, unscented) and although they say it will only last a month before the foam degrades, mine just lasted 2 months. It's still fine but I started with a fresh one last night anyway.
I did try washing my first one with soap (Dawn dish soap) & water when I got a new one, to experiment. Took several days to completely dry but looks brand new now. I'm saving it as a spare. As they say here YMMV (your mileage may vary).

I like the dreamwear FFM. I have the hose come up from behind pillow so the hose is out of the way and the dreamwear has had the air come through frame of mask so if you sleep on either side the air can still get through and the face part itself is mostly soft and comfortable. I sleep on back, sides, and stomach and have been able to sleep comfortably in all positions.
Oh and I use memory foam pillows.
I have the same mask (got it yesterday) and it's very comfortable. I use a My Pillow and, like you, sleep on my back, sides, and stomach. This mask works perfect for me!
