The real reason you need to use distilled water in not due to harmful impurities healthwise. It is because tap water has minerals that accumulate during the warming stage and possibly leave thickening deposits. The buildup clogs the machine. That is why these, steam irons, other things recommend distilled water.
Did you not even bother to read *THE FIRST POST IN THE THREAD?*

OP is not talking about distilled water for her cpap.

And, no, the buildup does not clog the machine.

Please stop posting nonsense.

1. it's best to use distilled water for CPAP.
2. It's very important to use it if you're putting water directly into your nostrils.
What, in your addled brain, does one have to do with the other?

It's best to use distilled water to prevent mineral build-up in the tank. It's less likely that anything could grow in the absence of deposits.

Walmart Market .80 cents a gallon.
That means I could get over 100 gallons for $1.00!

You win for the cheapest source!
I'll spell it for you, that's eighty cents a gallon not eight cents and how do you get 100 gallons?

80 cents = .80

".80 cents" actually means less than one cent. Either use the decimal or the word, but not both. It really does change the meaning.

Somebody needs a refresher on how to use the decimal point.

He's just being his normal self, making fun of you for saying .80 cents instead of 0.80 dollars, or 80 cents.

If I had $1.80 that would be one dollar and eighty cents or .80 would be eighty cents.

But we are all respondig to theprevious use of .80 cents

That isn't the same as eighty cents. Use the decimal OR the word, not both together.

If there was a cent symbol on the keyboard I would of used it, so I used the word. I didn't realize we were picking the fly poop out of the pepper.

  You can tell it's a slow day on the forum when so many people have to jump in and help out with the picking the fly poop out of the pepper.
At least you can look at it this way.....you gave all those helpful people something useful to do.
Now they can all pat themselves on the back.

Pugsy I'll just say to all the people that I gave something to do with the fly picking, as we say in the south while holding their hand and touching them gently on the shoulder " Bless Your Heart".

You stated eight tenths of a cent. Perhaps you meant eight tenths of a dollar, which is eighty cents.
