The forum owners let a LOT OF PEOPLE go more than a little overboard no matter how many times they post anything or how helpful or unhelpful that might be.
That is not why people get away with anything.

The reason it is allowed is because Johnny hates censorship in any form and thus snarky crap slides by.
He keeps hoping the children will grow up and play by the Golden Rule...I don't know how much time he wants to give them to grow up and it doesn't really matter.....guess who pays the bills????

Only in really bad situations where pretty much all hope is lost does the censorship ruler get swung.

Get over it people and get back on topic please.

So ... any thoughts on last nights pressures and flow ?

I've got a pretty good AHI of 1.38 so that's good. It's always around that level and I have almost no leaks.
Been using the machine for roughly 8 hours a nite for 18 days now.

I keep waking up a lot. last night was 4 times. I usually get up and go to the bathroom and/or eat something. Bad habit I know.
I'm lucky if I get a 3-4 hour sleep. It's a usually a hour or 2. Hopefully I can improve on sleeping longer some day :D

Thanks in advance :D

I forget....do you take any medications of any kind and if so, what?

Can't really tell much from the snippet you posted except you woke up and turned the machine off and back on several times a night.
Are you noticing anything that might be causing the wake ups?
Leaks? Comfort? Whatever? Waking up more now that you are on cpap than you did before or is the number of wake ups about the same?

No medications. Usually 2 cups a coffee a day. 1 in the the morning and 1 at 3pm-ish

and no leak or anything that I can think of that wakes me. My only thought is my brain is trained to wake me up often from the sleep apnea and now I need to re-train it to sleep.

Is that a thing ?

Actually I do think it is a thing plus I think there is also the brain just not being cool with the mask and machine blowing air up our nose thing.

So some of it may be just habit and some may just be the brain wanting to alert its human "hey dude, do you know that there is an alien stuck on your face blowing air up your nose" kind of thing. I think it was about 3 months before my brain quit doing that.
I was cool with the mask and all that stuff...no leaks to speak of...but would wake often just to feel the mask on my face.

Give yourself some time to create new habits...you know what they say about habits...the ones you don't want to have are the hardest to get rid of.

Once we see your full detailed report (in the format that helps us help you best) then maybe I might have some ideas to try out.

I would be looking at raising the minimum pressure from 4 to 6 as 4 can feel too low for many people

This is what i'm curious about. How do you know when it feels to low or when it's set to low ?

FWIW, It takes me about 5-10 minutes to get use to the machine and then I breathe fine.
I'm guessing thats the norm with everyone ?

I breathe fine immediately when I turn the machine on. 7 cm minimum pressure and 3 EPR so 4 cm on exhale. Totally like I am just breathing naturally...no fighting it whatsoever. At the most people should maybe just take a handful of breaths to get synced up with the machine. Shouldn't take more than a minute maybe.

Lower starting pressures can make a person feel a bit air starved...almost suffocation like. We won't suffocate of course but it sure can feel uncomfortable. Uncomfortable enough to mess with our sleep.

Also when you start at 4 cm...any exhale relief that can add comfort and easier breathing to the equation...isn't available because the machine can't go lower than 4 cm.
I know it sounds weird but starting at 6 cm and adding 2 cm drop for exhale relief (so 6 inhale and 4 exhale) is actually easier to do than just start 4 cm without the drop for exhale.

Given the wild ride of your mask pressure graph....I second the idea for increasing the minimum to 6 cm for several reasons.
With a more optimal minimum the wild ride might be reduced and you might sleep a little more soundly...no guarantees but sure worth trying.

If it were me, that second cup would be eliminated. It's sometimes surprising how long caffeine has an effect.

If you decide to eliminate it, you might want to go for a few days at one-half cup and then drop it altogether - some get headaches if they don't taper down.

All that makes sense. My pressures do look like a wild ride and I was thinking of increasing it to 6 so that wave of 4-6 maybe flattens out to a 6cm h2o. I admit I’m kinda quessing on that but it seems like maybe that’s a good quess because your thinking 6 as well.
