Aack and gads and other expletives!! Thank you for posting this startling and creepy bit of information. I had never bought one because I had to spend a fortune on masks, didn't have the funds, and decided soap and water should do the trick. Thankfully!

As for us newbies not reading - you all are correct! I can tell you that when I found this overwhelmingly rich-with-information-forum I was so desperate to get some help I felt overwhelmed with the very idea of reading all the stuff before I dared post anything. Which I am now catching up on little by little. You are so messed up as is your sleep therapy, you don't even know what questions to ask. When you are so freaking tired that your brain literally will not work to process or absorb so much new and strange information, you just want to post something and get help fast to give you some relief so that you can function during the day!!!!!!!!!

I'm new here, not new to forums. I did read the pinned topics for newbs. And have been using Cpaps about 10 years or so.

& then I found this thread & thought it was just the info I was looking for.

I'm thinking about buying a SoClean. Is $299 a good price?
Nah, I suggest you hold out for the $599.00 one... it's better.

And, the original complaint:

Docket activity:

SoClean’s own admissions, so the contention lacks any basis in fact. SeeEx. A,SoClean Press Releaseof Jan. 24, 2013 (explaining that ozone is a powerful yet dangerous sanitizer, akin to chlorine bleach).
Because this case presents a quintessential Lanham Act false advertising claim, SoClean’sproposed Motion to Dismiss is futile.
