The idea comes from my experiences with computer back up plans - they often did not work as expected due to changes in operating systems, dead batteries, phone outages, lack of adequate back up space, equipment failure - well, you get the idea. I would hate to be counting on the back up xPAP only to find a rodent had chewed the cables or insects had infested it, or .....?

I'm not. That's literally where I keep mine, because it's humidity controlled and locked down like Ft. Knox.

I have two on them. (how is that for "one upping").
Just attempting to try and not come off as too big an A.H.
NOP seems to be a little sensitive to joshing around.
Really not a bad idea, if you have enough room in there. A good machine is as expensive as a Kimber.

Of course I would not be as concerned with a XPAP in the hands of a felon as a gun.

Eh, No One's Perfect. I just keep it in there because no one messes with my safe, so it's as good a place as any and I had room there. I WISH I didn't have room, but I've got a mortgage to pay off first before I can invest in the walk-in safe.

In Oklahoma a walk in safe is known as a tornado safe room.

Lol mine is sitting on top of ours. No room inside.

Sure. It can be called both. Isn't a vault also safe?

As far as I'm concerned, that's a good problem to have
