If you already have the complete F30 mask, frame, headgear, just feed the straps of the 'View headgear through the frame and magnetic clips of the F30, in just the same way you would if you had washed your original F30 headgear, and are putting it back together.

When I did this I just happened to have both masks and was sick of the F30 straps riding against the top of my ears and tightening up the crown strap to alleviate that problem was then painful on the top of the head, so I just tried swapping out the headgear from the Amara View and it worked perfectly. Voila.

Thanks yes I have the mask and I will order the amara view headgear and see if it works.
I too always feel it digging into my ears.

Just received the amara view headgear yesterday. I really did not notice any significant difference between the amara view and the f30 headgear. They both seem to ride low and irritate my ears. Also trying to wear it last night, every time I shifted positions on my side the frame would move and break the seal.
If you have any pearls on how to make this work I would be grateful.
Thanks

I'm sorry to hear that, ummm...i really dont know what to suggest, maybe the top / crown strap needs to be tightened up a bit, and let the others out?

I really love this setup, in fact i just got a new headgear which i got all setup and measured and marked out. I think my crown strap is about 2 inches from the seam for reference.

That should get it off your ears. Once you do that, and tighten up the face straps, it should be more secure. Hopefully.

Will try again, is the top strap sitting in the middle or towards the back of your head?

Definitely middle of my head.

top strap is at 2" from tip of strap to seam, upper cheek straps are about 1 1/4" and lower straps are right at 1" this is a very comfortable setting for me, not overly tight, no pain on the top of my head or nasal, corners of mouth, no leaks from mask, and not digging into my ears.

I know in these it looks like the straps are digging into my ears but they're actually not.

I apologize for the extreme closeups, I had to reduce the file size to upload by cropping.

Followed your advice gv280z and I slept pretty well with zero leaks.
My only problem is that my nasal septum gets very irritated. Does anyone have any advice for this problem? I don’t have the mask too tight. I think the problem is I am a side sleeper and the pressing of the mask against my nose causes this problem.
Thanks for your help.

Ok, well thats a start! Glad to hear semi good news. I'm also a side sleeper, for the 2nd half of the night, start on back, then roll to side 2 or 3 am without issue. You may not think your mask is too tight but often it actually is.

The F30 is pretty good about if the straps are a LITTLE bit slack ,its just about perfect. Adjust until you can feel the smallest bit of pressure against your nose, and then hook up to air and test,

also you can do a quick test with just your hand covering the frame opening and blow against the mask, and also try inhaling against it to test for leaks.

Sometimes i do have to adjust a bit while getting pressure if it needs just a bit of tightness, and then check later upon waking to mark.
