And dihydrogen monoxide is water.
What do you mean "and"?

Just adding to the previous poster’s comments on the ingredients. No hidden meaning or intention. I always get a kick out of ingredient labels, and I remember when someone was passing around petitions to get dihydrogen monoxide banned as a deadly chemical. It was meant as a hoax to prove that you can get people to believe pretty much anything.

This was first done to illustrate how widespread chemophobia is.

I use J&J Baby Shampoo/soap
In the regular formula of Johnson’s Baby Shampoo it lists dihydrogen monoxide, cocamidopropyl betaine, PEG-80 sorbitan laurate and sodium trideceth sulfate. Citric acid, PEG-150 distearate, polyquaternium-10, fragrance and tetrasodium EDTA are also ingredients. The last three ingredients are quaternium-15, yellow 10 and orange 4.
What would you recommend instead?

Most people use Dawn and do quite well with it. My soap just ran out, and I've picked up a small bottle of Dawn for my own use.
Dawn ingredients: Dihydrogen monoxide
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate
Sodium Laureth Sulfate
Lauramine Oxide
Alcohol Denatured
PPG-26
Sodium Chloride
Sodium Hydroxide
PEI-14 PEG-10/PPG-7 Copolymer
Phenoxyethanol
Methylisothiazolinone
Fragrance
Red 33
Blue 1
Yellow 5
You do understand none of those chemikills will hurt you when used in the way intended?

Dawn.

Smells great, cleans up the gross oils and have no issues with my skin.

I'm not eating it, so no other worries.

Dr Bronners, I don't care what is in it or not, I just like the scent.

*ME TOO!!!!*

I love Dr Bronner's peppermint. I buy it by the gallon and use it for everything. It's a dream on a cpap mask. I'll shampoo with it in a pinch. In fact, I've even used it to do laundry. It's great when traveling to have just one soap.

I've recently discovered the "sugared" peppermint and just added a gallon of this to my collection about a week ago.

I am just completely unhappy when I have to use any other soap.

I've tried (and like) all the Dr Bronner variations but always come back to peppermint since the early 1980s.

I prefer the scentless Dawn, when I can find it.. less rinsing to get rid of the smell.. but yeah, used it for years on my masks, anybody that says it's bad... doesn't know what they're babbling about.

:raises eyebrow: well, I'd HOPE there was no soap reside from mouthwash.

probably won't do a very good job degreasing a cpap cushion though.

Peppermint is the only one I've tried. Been using it since about the mid 80's. I've been meaning to try some of the other ones but always just grab the peppermint. Lol. I'm visiting my daughter and notice she has some of the eucalyptus dr b's soap which I will make sure to try.
