Reminds me of a three year old saying a dirty word over and over again to keep the adults attention on him.
Sort of amusing at first then after so many repetitions just gets tiresome.
Kind of like elevator music on a never ending loop.
Just pathetic.
Go to your room and stay there until you decide to grow up.

The brat needs a spanking.
you BULLY!!
Whiny babies that talk about internet "bullying" are doing nothing but trivializing actual bullying.
Like wise Nan said "whatever happened to 'sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me'"?
Who knows, maybe these people get a black eye from reading words they don't like on the net... :shrugs:

More likely it's just Red Eye,or Pink! At last we agree on something, don't try to make it a habit!

I got eaten alive by the sharks & stopped posting for a long time. I was bullied as a child before technology so didn't have to deal with internet bullying at the time, but now I am finding that I don't appreciate being bullied by grown adults on the internet in forums that are designed to offer help. When responding to a post, please be KIND. It is okay to disagree on a subject, but it is NOT OKAY to bully someone just because you don't agree. Just state why you don't agree in a kind, professional manner.
Becca-
You are a breath of "fresh air"!!! I know there are many people who feel exactly like you do!!! - Some of them have spoken to me "off-the-record" and have said that the bullying that takes place on this forum should not be happening! - I'm sorry you had to get 'shark-attacked' by this "friendly group".
I've told the story before about getting bullied by someone every single day in junior high school until "I was forced to fight the bully". Let's just say that the bully missed about 3 days of school and never, ever bullied me again!

Bullies don't change unless someone makes them change!
Unfortunately, as long as the owner allows such practices, which have gone on for many years (the bullying that is), it will continue to be an integral part of this forum...
Glad to see you back on the forum Becca! Stay well!!!
I was taught by my pacifist parents never to start a fight, to walk -or run- away unless there was no means of escape, but if I ever was in a fight that I should finish it. I took their teachings to heart.
I was bullied endlessly until 9th grade when I stopped running. Literally running home every day.
I kicked the living snot out of the first guy. Some thought it was a fluke, that the other guy had slipped before I pounded his head into the pavement until a teacher came out to the parking lot and pulled me off.
The second guy "challenged me" to a fight "down at the bridge". After his wrist was broken and I was pounding his face, a highschool senior stopped the fight by sucker punching me.
I never had another fight in my life (and I'm pushing 60.) Both the other guys were suspended, I was not because I had tried to avoid the confrontations.
What they didn't know back in the 70s was I had been secretly boxing at the youth center, and I was savage and employed a strategy to "finish the fight" at the start and not trade blows.
...and you should know that with my birthday January and my father's 6'6" height, I was the oldest and biggest guy in the class. I am 6'3" and 350 pounds now, a bit imposing and I don't let anyone bully me any more, in any forum, and I don't give a flying fahoogie what any of you dicks believe is reality or an after school special. This IS the way it works in real life.

I've got news for paleface. I know full well what in your face bullying is. Like you Ron I'm almost 60. I spent from first grade to 12th grade having people push me down stairs, trip me when wearing crutches, hitting me, slugging me, spitting on me...ad nauseum. I wish I had had the sense to stand up, unfortunately my folks like yours taught me to take it. Little boys like paleface and his cronies here I guarantee were bullies in school and never grew up.

I suspect we have people from the apnea board trying to take down this forum. They accuse us (pretty much all of us) as being jerks and bullies, yet they come in and want to force us to change the forum to suit their needs. Dang. Now it is sounding like a hostile invasion or a big experiment.
If you new people dislike this forum so much, and you think the other forums are so much better, why are you still here? Do you think it is your duty to change all forums to match the one you like? We don't need them to all be the same. We have freedom of choice. We can choose where we hang out. Find one you like and have a great time. If you don't like this one, no need to change it. Just look for one that suits you better.
The more argument threads we have, the fewer threads needing help will be on the front page.

I love a good conspiracy theory. The Apnea Board could be in collusion with the Russians. CPAPtalk.com needs to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate. There may be high crimes and misdemeanors.

I'm not looking to take down anything.
I saw disbelieving replies to a guy who explained what he experienced in being bullied and how fighting back solved his problem and I related my (nearly identical) personal experiences.
That's it.
I don't care about inter-forum politics or anything else. That's amazingly paranoid and facially silly.
As I said back on page 3 or whatever, I stopped frequenting this place because it became more annoying than entertaining, and that after a lengthy absence this was the first thread I came across, reaffirming my opinion. The fact it has continued and allowed to fester and create disharmony and ill will among the members just speaks to me that the lesson hasn't been learned here yet.
Do with my opinions what you will, think that I'm some apneanation plant out to steal forum members. Whatever you want.
I wish you all well, I hope forum participation goes through the roof and everyone has ice cream with hot fudge, bananas and Jimmies (those are sprinkles for anyone outside of Boston).
