Humidity is to help the nasal mucosa....some people need a high humidity setting and others don't.
Heck, I know husbands and wives who are both on cpap and one wants maximum humidity and the other wants next to none added humidity. Same household...same ambient humidity...same bedroom temps...same everything except personal preferences as to what the nose wants.
Yep. My mom and I sleep in different rooms of the same house. We both use a Resmed S9 Autoset with Quattro FX mask. My pressure is 11-17. Her pressure is 10-15. So, almost identical setup. I use the humidifier with a setting of 5 (and low temp). She doesn't even use the humidifier. When we travel together, same thing.

Random question, what do you guys use to clean your CPAP equipment (hose, mask, etc) every week? I used to use liquid soap but now I started using dishwasher detergent since the handbook for the machine recommended a mild detergent.
Dish soap is what most of us use. You are primarily removing skin oils from your mask and straps, and dish soap will remove the oil. If dish soap cleans dishes well enough for food consumption, then it surely will clean your CPAP equipment. As far as cleaning the hose and water chamber weekly, that is up to you. Many of us never clean the hose, and clean the water chamber much less than once a week unless we are using hard water which leaves a lot of mineral deposits on the water chamber. As often stated here on the forum, we all clean to the level we are comfortable with.

primokev, just adding on to what oki said-try incorporating non-scented baby wipes into your cleaning schedule. they are great for keeping your mask clean and will cut down on your needing to clean so often.

I wipe my p10 nasal pillows every morning with Kirkland (Costco) alcohol-free, fragrant-free baby wipes. 9 packs of 100 wipes for about $20.
I wash my head-gear, mask and humidifier tank about once every 2 weeks in hot water and Dawn.
Climate line hose, washed 2 maybe 3 times in the 15 months I've been on CPAP, hot water and Dawn.

Hello, it's a been a few days since my last post. I've been feeling a LOT better recently and I think the culprit for that is...EPR.
I noticed that I felt a lot worse without EPR on so after sticking with EPR for a few nights I felt a noticeable improvement in my mood, general thought process, etc. Not too sure why EPR is responsible but I noticed that sometimes when I woke up during the night, it felt difficult to exhale when the machine was operating at higher pressures.
So I think I would consider my problem solved for now (Although it looks my AHI has increased by a bit with EPR on? It was up to 3 for one night). Thanks for all the extra tips everyone. I've included a screenshot of last night below.
