If you have a heated hose on a Dreamstation cpap, where would you connect the SoClean 2? I know there's a connector If you use a regular hose. The reason I ask is because I'm thinking about getting a Dreamstation.
Thanks

Best to *not* connect it.

You need to contact SoClean. There are not a large number of people on the forum that use the machine. Every time this machine is mentioned in a post, the unflattering comments start, and tend to get nasty.

Would this do it? I have no idea, myself.
SoClean CPAP Adapter for Respironics DreamStation and System One
Q: Can this be used with a system one humidifier and retain the heated hose function?
A: Thank you for your question! The adapter will allow you to use the heated hose function of your System One, yes.

Forget the "Not-So-Clean" and save your money. You can buy a lot of Dawn liquid dishsoap for that much.
You DO know that you have to pre-wash your equipment before you hook it to the the "Not-So-Clean", don't you?
That in itself contradicts their advertisements.
In case you don't believe me, here's some links to their manuals:

1. Pre-washing your PAP Equipment
Use two capfuls of the included pre-wash
with a gallon of water to wash your PAP
equipment (mask, hose, and reservoir), then
rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Note:
The
SoClean 2 uses no fluids in its
operation. The pre-wash is supplied for
hand washing your PAP equipment only.
DO NOT immerse your
SoClean in water.

On top of that, you have to periodically purchase replacement parts for the machine.

You only have to wash parts once. After that you can just use the machine. Yes, once every 6 months you need a $30 filter. Big deal. So far I'm loving both my Dreamstation and my so clean. To the op, you can get a adapter on Amazon fo less than 20 bucks.

Too bad this has to happen. Can't people just be civil and helpful?

Honest unflattering comments ARE helpful when a useless product's ads are as guilty of fear-mongering as are FauxClean ads, IMO.

This is *COMPLETELY WRONG*.
Parts need to be washed *every time*.

It's too bad that people are conned into spending a lot of money for a useless product.

AND rightfully so, as it IS useless and a total scam, and waste of money, time, effort, and resources.

I would like to get a nice new ultrasonic 6L Cleaner, been looking at them. The one I'm looking at is about $ 145 give or take, but I'm smart enough to know it's not necessary, and after I used it once, I'd clean it up and pack it away. I know me, I do that!!!

Jim
I know it will clean, and like So (No) Clean says it will kill germs, because when you set it down on it's rubber feet it will smash some, and being heavier it will kill more... If you push it around on the table, you can kill many.
