I'm having asthma problems today and this made me laugh so much I started coughing again. It hurts to cough, but it was totally worth it.

Dan- I enjoyed your post and the cool pic of your '67 Mustang Cobra!!!
Out of of curiosity,
"what might be a bad consequence” of
speaking with respect to everyone on this forum (as the Ringleader does over on ApneaBoard.com), or perhaps "not saying anything at all" if one feels compelled to spew hatred! - - For instance, in the case that you decide you just
Can't resist telling someone that they’d get an “F” from their junior high school teacher for “sentence structure”…
And conversely, be honest now,
"what could be some of the good consequences”…? I'd prefer hearing "your answer" because as simple as the question seems, the gang who posts here will either be "stumped" or will utter some nonsense like, "There goes our "free-speech"!!!
The Ringleader Finds An Excuse to Bully Yet One More Member!!! - And His Gang Absolutely Loves It!!!.JPG
First, my post was a little tongue in cheek and was meant to be humorous..... as much as I could muster.
I really don't have a dog in this fight. I've been here for 4 months to the day. I can only assume that a "good consequence" for you and a few others would be to ban the ringleader, as you call him. The unintended or "bad consequences" would be the loss of the ringleaders experience in CPAP paraphernalia and it's proper use thereof. Also, and this is just an assumption on my part. The ringleader is quite familiar with the software and the bugs that ail it, that we use to analyze our CPAP data.
Whether it is PR or someone else that wants to have the last WORD..... some people are too sensitive to let that keep them from healing. I've been bitten here, but it didn't draw any blood. There is an old saying that "What somebody thinks of me, is none of my business". To "be honest now" I find most of this thread to be a waste of megabytes.

First of all, the ringleader "surprisingly" does not have his Foes Signature Line over there!!!

- Also, the ringleader does not bully or harass members over there at all
He does not need to .... that is taken care of by LEFTY .
He has the ability to edit out incorrect information .... we do not have that ability here

Btw, this same "Ringleader" and his same "group of Foes" post over on ApneaBoard.com where they enforce their Terms of Service (ToS); so guess what a happens over there? - First of all, the ringleader "surprisingly" does not have his Foes Signature Line over there!!!

- Also, the ringleader does not bully or harass members over there at all!!!

- So we all know what's possible, when normal rules of decency (TOS) are enforced; all people are treated with respect "all the time!"
You mean they let him back in? He was banned for years. I guess any foe of JediMark is a friend of theirs.

GrayGhost- Sorry, but I think you might be a little confused. I have been talking about ApneaBoard.com where both the Ringleader (where he uses the same name) and his same "group of foes" all post...I don't think LankyLefty has anything to do with ApneaBoard. (Or if he does, that's news to me!)
He doesn't even have a
"Signature Line Foes List" with your name on it, plus he doesn't bully people over there!!!
- - - Otherwise he goes on the "Bad Boys List" again!!!
I do NOT post over there. I had ( & still have?) an account but since I could not delete the account I set a random password. Any site that has logins but refuses to use ssl certificates and claims they are secure are dishonest and to be avoided IMO.
CPAPTalk does not have the certificate on their forum, but has it on the login page where it matters.

Hate and bullying are not exclusive to liberals.
Conservatives are very good at it, too.
Even Christians . . .

Yes, but liberals use it to shut down debate and any contrary view more often than the others combined.

My understanding is that all are welcome to participate at this forum, regardless of political or religious preference.
It is also my understanding that bullying, of any sort, is not encouraged, even in forms that may not be considered as rising to the level of that worthy of lock, penalty, or ban.
In other words, it is generally best to leave public partisan bullying to the politicians who train for it and the hackers who are paid to do it.

Perspective is fascinating. Here in New England no one would associate "hate" and "bullying" with liberals - that's what conservatives do! I remember visiting my 96 year old father in Florida and out of the blue he asked me "why do you liberals always hate so much?" I was totally perplexed until I realized he was watching Fox News sunup to sunset and this was the only perspective he saw. Sometimes I think everyone should be forced to watch an equal amount of Fox and MSNBC so they appreciate how the "other half" views the world.

I don't watch any network news, it will rot your brain. I prefer news without the talking heads interpreting it for me.
