I just bought an IntelliPAP2.........
1.I can't connect to my NOTEBOOK or Android phones via Bluetooth.
2.I can connect to my new machine with the old version of Devilbiss remote control software(ver.14); I can read and modify the internal settings. But I can't download a record of my sleep status.
I am already used to operating SmartLink 2.56 with intellipap auto to manage and adjust the parameters of my machine and print the report to my doctor.
My problem is that SmartLink 3 has been discontinued and I can't switch to the new software version. Does anyone know how to use SmartLink 2.56 to read data in IntelliPAP2?
Or can someone provide smartlink 3.0 desktop for me?
thank you very much

Re: I just bought an IntelliPAP2.........
I can connect to Intellipap 2 via Bluetooth with an old Android phone. But the SmartLink App can't provide enough information to fine tune my CPAP, which is too bad.
I don't understand why SMARTLINK 3 should be discontinued or other alternatives should be offered, such as upgrading SMARTLINK 2.
I have tried sleephead, but the results of the analysis are very different from SMARTLINK APP; I have used SLEEPHEAD to analyze the results of INTELPAP AUTO information, and the results of SMARTLINK 2 are very small. Or maybe not familiar with how to use SLEEPHEAD.
Excuse me, experts, are there any suggestions?
thank you very much

Re: I just bought an IntelliPAP2.........
The feeling of using the old and new machines is very different.
The old type is gentle and the new type is fierce. The settings for the two machines are the same, but the response is quite different. The biggest difference is the average pressure value; the new machine is 12cmH2O (90%) and the old machine is 7.5cmH2O (90%). The APCP settings for both machines are 5--12cmH2O.
It seems that the number of patients used in these two machines is very small, and there are not many experienced users.

There are instructions to Sleepyhead all over here - but try the 1st 'Announcement" for links, etc.

Re: I just bought an IntelliPAP2.........
After a few nights, I tried to adjust the setting parameters of the new machine; finally it was similar to the result of using the old machine. I turned off the SmartFlex and RAMP functions; everything is back to normal.
Thank you for leaving infinite knowledge and valuable experience in the forum.
But I still can't use Sleepyhead properly; it doesn't seem to interpret my sleep record properly.
Does anyone successfully use Sleepyhead on an Intellipap 2 machine?

What do you mean by 'interpret'? Can you be more specific, or even post a graph or two here?

Smartlink app shows the value AHI is 5
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kXNr3Z ... sp=sharing
Smartlink app shows the value AHI is 8.3
My question is: AHI in the report is much higher than the value shown in the machine.

Your leaks are bad and your pressure needs to be increased.....How did you determine the min and max pressures? Change to 9 min and 20 max.

Re: I just bought an IntelliPAP2.........
My high and low pressure range is obtained through hospital titration.
The recommended value is 6--9 cmH2O
The average value of my old machine is 7.5 (90%)
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hM3WXl ... sp=sharing
This is the most recent report, the smartlink app shows that the AHI value is 3.
If the pressure is higher than 10, I will occasionally wake up or take off the mask.

Re: I just bought an IntelliPAP2.........
Unless you increase your pressures, your AHI is going to remain high...your current setting of 5/12 is not sufficient.

Re: I just bought an IntelliPAP2.........
Ditto.
And the max (upper) setting should be a lot higher than the min. to allow the machine to 'go' where it needs to and not be capped by the max setting.
At least try a few nights with the diff. pressures.

Re: I just bought an IntelliPAP2.........
My problem is that all respiratory events are determined by the machine.
Different software should show the same report content (AHI)?

Yes...machine determines the events and calls them like it sees them.williamwu1107 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2019 11:20 amMy problem is that all respiratory events are determined by the machine.

The software only reports what the machine is recording. Software doesn't do any name calling.
If nothing else...increase your minimum pressure to better hold the airway open in the first place. Maybe you will get lucky and with the more optimal minimum the machine won't have the need to go higher than 10 cm or so. Not impossible...I have seen it happen.

Re: I just bought an IntelliPAP2.........
I feel that I can probably understand the algorithm of this new machine.
The current average pressure is already in the normal range (around 7.5, shown by the smartlink app).
I hope that sleepyhead will help me show the details of the respiratory therapy event.
So I have to ask someone to successfully use sleepyhead in Intellipap 2?
Why do the two softwares show a large difference in the AHI value?
Precisely, Hypopnea index should be very different.

Re: I just bought an IntelliPAP2.........
Thank you for your guidance.
Sleepyhead is also sufficient to provide the main details of the breathing event.
A little bit of a shortage. . . . . .
Thanks again to the patients who participated in the discussion.
good night.
