I got an inquiry via PM about my mouth taping technique.
Since I've changed the tape placement (Revision A), I need to update the pic. I thought this thread would be a good place for it. I've also realized some new things over time that are at least equally important to the position of the strips of tape.
Here's the pic. Minor modification, the angled vertical strips now extend down into the "soul patch" area, which is shaved. And I dropped off the horizontal strip in the same area.

Here's a list of my realizations over time.
1) Clean your face. I've taken to washing my face every night as part of my "getting ready" routine. I use the DreamPort, so after I'm done wiping the areas for these, I hit the areas where my mouth tape will go with the alcohol.
2) Be sure everything is completely dry.
3) Purse lips when applying 1st horizontal strip. (not new, but really important)
4) Press the tape strips onto your skin after you apply them.
5) after putting the 1st horizontal piece over my lips, i test it by blowing quite hard so my cheeks puff out. This lets me know if I need to start over.
Doing these things, this tape job holds up all night for me. Very rare to have a failure.
In this pic, I'm trying my darndest to blow the tape seal loose. I couldn't budge it. Not even close.

As proof of the effectiveness of all this combined with the Bleep DreamPort, here's my MyAir leak chart for the past couple of weeks.
