I have loved all the scents so far but Spice is still my favorite so I'm sure I will LOVE the new Tangerine/Lime one! My youngest son still likes to crawl in bed occasionally to snuggle but now I think because of the Pur-Sleep..lol. He tells me to turn over so he can get a whiff from the exhaust! Yeah, I have a weird kid..
Bret, we're still waiting for the "doggy butt blast extinguisher" aroma to hit the website!
Keep up the good work!

The tangerine-lime and vanilla both have potential. I think making the scents less complex would be a good thing for my sensitive nose (but I realize others may prefer the complex ones). I too think if the peppermint was available by itself, it would be a great for clearing up a stuffy nose. Cinnamon would be a nice addition too. Oh then there is MJ, surely to knock some folks out like a light … just kidding
Selection of Oil Scents

I would like to order your starter set but HATE anything that is spice based so the one oil would be a total waste for me.
Do you ever give your customers a choice of the scents they would like? I love sweet florals and "fresh scents" but definately no spice anything. It would be nice if you could choose which you want.
The vanilla one DOES sound wonderful!!
God bless,
Louise

Thanks Becky. Unfortunately Chamomile EO is extremely expensive but it's supposed to be very good for calming and sleep.... I'll see what I can do.
Becky, I'm also curious about your statement that you're not using your sleep meds anymore. I think that's great!

Louise, send me and email with your order and I'll be glad to let you select the oils you want. I'll be adding the two oils next week.

I like that suggestion of an aroma sample card. But to me that sounds cost prohibitive for any new small business getting off the ground. Still, I wonder if there's any cost-effective way to bundle aroma samples with each customer's very first purchase. I know that has to be a tough nut to crack regarding cost-benefit ratio.
Regardless, it would be nice if we could buy an oil or two, and somehow sample the other aromatic offerings in the process.

I get paid Friday. Can you post a list of the oils you have? Including the new ones please. Than I can choose before hand. I am looking forward to this!!

Bret,
Before being diagnosed with OSA I would light incense. Tried that at first but with mask on could not smell it very well. I then got some SleepMD and that help me get to sleep. Your pur-sleep has added the smells back into my sleep. For that I am very grateful and have stopped taking the meds as your scents have given me back my normal and natural sleep aid.

SWS, this is a good idea....but you're absolutely right about the costs! I need to build this into the business model down the road a bit. I don't know how well EOs do in a sample card, though. It's much easier to do that with fragrance oils (Scratch-and-Sniff). I don't know if it's even possible with EOs but I'll check around.

They're on the website in much more detail (except the two new ones):
Spice (orange & clove)
Clear (peppermint & lime)
Peace (lavender and a little marjoram)
Comfort (marjoram and a little lavender)
Rosa (palmarosa and geranium--smells like roses)
Paradise (ylang ylang extra)
Deep (lime & basil)
Fresh (tangerine & a little lime)
Creme (vanilla tenfold oleoresin)
I've avoided using cinnamon--that stuff is a real stimulant. It really increases my heartrate and (no doubt) blood pressure. I don't think it would be very good for sleeping.
Chamomile EO is extremely expensive but I think a lavender blend with a bit of chamomile might be very nice.... I might just start experimenting with that one....

DreamStalker, thanks for your thoughts on this. You're not the only one who has made the same comment (in particular, Blarg). This is one of the reasons I've decided to start changing the blend ratios to make them less complex (which is a good idea in general I think) and why I added the two new oils. I'd love to get you the two new ones to see if they hit the mark better for you. Cinnamon is nice but it is a true stimulant--really gets my heart pounding. I'll check back with you this weekend.

The more I use these scents, the more I am hooked. I have been able to lower my sleeping meds. I know I am still waking up at night, but I don't think as often. I used to be able to tell you how many times I woke up and at what times. Now I just have general recollections of waking, but don't know how often or when. I think I am not waking as completely.
By the way, I saw pulmonologist yesterday. He and I have a "special" relationship... like he loves to ask why my printouts say my auto is set from 9-13 when he prescribed 7-15. I explain that I follow my results regularly and that is what gets me the best AHI. He then asks what I need him for
Anyhow, I mentioned the diffuser and how I thought it was helping. He did not jump out of his chair and tell me what a bad thing I was doing. He just smiled and said "whatever works." So the poster who thought every lung doctor whould have a fit about this product... well not every one would.
Looking forward to the two new scents!!

Even better, it's doctor-approved CPAP catnip!!!!
Okay, I suppose technically, it's doctor-not-disapproved CPAP catnip. Either way, Bret, it sounds like you've got a winner on your hands. Congratulations!

Small plastic pouch packs?
If it's too cost prohibitive to include with an initial order, perhaps you could sell a "sampler pack" that includes all the fragrances? Offer it bundled for a higher price?
