Well, it took a lot of phone work, and I will have to drive 90 miles round trip to take delivery, but I've found a certified DME willing to order the AirCurve 10 VAuto and take assignment of Medicare so I don't have to pay up front. Keeping fingers crossed :)

Thank you everyone. I'm sure I'll be looking to you for more help when I get my machine.

Regards,
HK
good lord! i hope you are turning this into a shopping trip or day out or something.

then they will send a replacement if they considerate it a non-patient caused problem.
I can't blame 'em. There's so many stupid, entitled people out there these days, "Oh, you poured water into your Instant Pot(tm) without the liner in it, and it sparked and smoked? just take it back!" when the proper answer is "You're too stupid to use one, throw that one in the trash and consider it an expensive lesson".

Most warranties don't cover consumer abuse.

...ResMed honors warranties...we have a few people here who have reported getting new machines under warranty...
I had a ResMed APAP replaced under warranty. I used my backup while my sleep doc handled the sending suggested by ResMed Tech Support, who are great folks to deal with or they were when this occurred, can't remember year, maybe a few years after the S9s were issued.
