Oscar sees nothing! As in, that is what Oscar shows - it has not picked up Sunday night. Resscan has read Sunday night, but only the summary data.

You know, it is suspicious that I lost data capability on August 31.......

I wonder if your machine has quit writing to SD card. That can happen.
Do you have a new card laying around?

If it were me I would use the machine for about 30 minutes or so while awake after making sure that the machine recognizes the SD card...and then pull the card and import to see if any detailed data shows up.

If you have SleepyHead...use it to import or ResScan because OSCAR gets all confused when there's more than one session for one day imported and tomorrow if it imports anything it won't be complete in OSCAR.

You mean the machine may have malfunctioned and stopped writing data to the card?

I'll try a few more tricks.

Sleepyhead can see Sunday night, and can see that it was split into two sessions, so my recollection about going to sleep connected, and waking unconnected is truth.

I'm going to go cycle the power on the cpap machine, and waggle some wires.

Is there any way to turn off the detailed data other than malfunction?

It may have stop writing the detailed data files which are different from the summary files which it does appear to be sometimes putting on the SD card or you wouldn't have any new summary numbers at all.

No way to not have detailed data that I know of without it being a malfunction. It's not something we have access to at all in the machine...as in what the machine puts on the card.

So you see the stuff on the left side of the detailed nightly report and it shows the 2 sessions but still no graphs on the right side of SleepyHead for Sunday night?

Well crap.

The only thing else I know to try is a brand new SD card and IMHO that's a long shot.

I'll see if I can pick up a super cheap card tomorrow. But I'm thinking it is a long shot. And since I have no warranty on the machine.....

I might have myself a brick!

Not a total brick but certainly a very limited data machine.

Do you have a spare? You might call acbio.com and see what they say about fixing it.

We blanked off a card and still no detail data. Hubbyhead is all set to pull the machine apart and fix it. I am more cautious, since this machine actually seems to be doing the job of improving my sleep.
I will contact acbio. It might be that the data unit can be replaced

Whenever I put a card in my Autoset that's never been in it before, the screen says "preparing sd card". And there's a considerable wait. Maybe 1-2 minutes.

Curious if you saw a message like that?

So with further research, it turns out that there is nothing wrong with my Vpap.

My husband put OSCAR on his laptop and it read the files and displayed the detailed data fine.

So I uninstalled and reinstalled OSCAR - and it still won’t read.

So I uninstalled and cleaned up some files....

...and now OSCAR will not install.

A few weeks back, my laptop said it needed an update to continue to work with some of my apps. I did the update right away, so I don’t know whether I would have lost Oscar without it, but you might want to check on your update notices.

The error does seem to be linked to the Microsoft update. There is no link to an update for OSCAR. I have downloaded the most recent version. This will no longer install.
