Thanks for taking an interest, welcome to my nightmare.

I'm guessing this was about the time that oxygen deprivation with the low O2 Saturation was going to give me a headache. Continuing to sleep would have resulted in a debilitating headache, and getting up to address it just sucked. I can't tell you how many times I would just go back to sleep and would be barely functional, often to the point of nausea.

The remedy was generally just staying up at a minimum of an hour, and depending on how I felt perhaps I was fortunate enough where I felt comfortable going back to sleep.

In other words,

More Sleep = Lower O2 Saturation = Migraine

Im new Im a retired sort of farmer. My Doc told me to have a sleep study now I have Blessed Machine. I hate it. Just something else controling me.
I have another month and a half to comply. If I don't get the amount of time I have I would end up paying for the machine myself. I hope to return it before time runs out.

I see and I feel this. I have TMJD and I find more hours sleep = more time sleeping on the joint and/or more apnea’d sleep = more pain waking up that lasts ALL day.

EDIT: My dentist also hypothesizes that I hold my jaw forward when I sleep just so I can breathe, and it’s causing me pain because of my TMJD condition. Either way I get to balance sleep deprivation and pain.

Yes, sounds like we are in the same boat to an extent.

Also, I read your initial thread and posted a lengthy response that vaporized, probably at my own hand. I’ll send something again soon.

Well, little sleep but restful outside of this one incident. Not sure what gives, can't say I remember flopping or anything around that time.

I do mouth breathe when congested, but thus far with the dreamwear nasal gel pillows, my airways have seemed pretty clear. I did tape my mouth the last two nights to see if I could tolerate it and did OK.

Does your mask leak at the 15 pressure range? Perhaps in a certain sleep position? I noticed mine did a bit after ramping took me just from 6 to 8. Had to be awake, didn't notice it in my sleep. Mask just needed to be a little tighter.

No leaks with the gel pillows but I was getting leaks with the full face and the regular nasal pillow. They could start as low as12 from flopping around and I easily distorted the single air slit in the nasal pillow if I tried adjusting it while sleeping. I’m also getting condensation in the tube, hard to sleep when you get some cold drool rolling out of the mask or the leak takes direct aim at your eyeball.

Super stoked, although it almost seems to be an April Fools joke. Loving the Scunci accessory and if I could just get the frame not to shift I would be golden.
