I'm not too sure about that. I'm the one that usually got up with our girls. They wanted daddy, not mommy.

My sleep quality, after going on CPAP 8-10 years ago has been excellent — enough so that I let my body tell me what to do.
Pretty much I sleep what my body tells me it needs — runs between 5 and 7 or 8 hours usually.
I fall asleep quickly (minutes) and wake up (usually but not always) about every 3 hours, peek at the clock, roll over and go right back to sleep. I don’t find the wakings (which usually are only a couple of minutes or so) really affect my quality of sleep. When I wake up in the morning I can tell you almost immediately if it’s time to get up or if I’ll go back to sleep. If it’s time to get up I’ll not fall back asleep no mater how long I lay there, if it’s time to go back to sleep that’ll happen in minutes.
It’s not hours of sleep for me, it’s quality. Since starting CPAP I rarely find myself tired from lack of sleep.
