Hm, weird. I wonder how common it is for a broken package to make it through 3 OS version upgrades without being removed. Silly indeed. Got it working now naively under Debian and Ubuntu. try using dpkg -L sleepyhead or whatever the name of the package was, find out where the binary went.
It's probably SleepyHead (funny capitalization)
