If the strap cinching hadn't been the clue, another avenue to consider would have been a hose leak, where the hose ordinarily sits in such a manner that it won't leak most of the time, but when you turn over or bend the hose in just the wrong way, it leaks really badly. For me, hose damage is more common close to the connectors. That happened to me with a heated hose that I ended up replacing. Glad you figured it out.

In all my years working with "software developers" (of course, when I was in college, we just called ourselves "programmers"), I've never once encountered any of them mentioning this concept... and frankly, I think I'd be a little concerned about any of them that were having a discussion with a Rubber Duck. Hello all,
Just wanted to post an update to this thread. I was still having some major problems with leaks, and wound up getting a different mask and headgear.
Got the ResMed AirTouch F20 with a UltraSoft Memory Foam Cushion.
I'm a side sleeper, and I can say this mask is AMAZING. Leaks have dropped significantly.
AHIs are running in the 3-7 range, but I'm not sure why they are up.

Post some daily graphs and may be we can help reduce your AHI
