Hi all, I am nearly clueless about batteries. I have a now discontinued Goal Zero as backup now. When needed, I plug my ResMed S9 (disconnected humidifier) into it and away I go. Just had a power outage and at 50% charge, I got fewer than 5 hours. I need more charge than that as backup. Pressure range is 9.8-16, average (or is that 90%?) last session was 13.2 which is typical, rare for me to need above 14. I have never needed more than 8-9 hours during an outage. Really think I should have 3-4 nights backup, just in case.

How many nights would I likely get out of this battery during an extended power outage (rare for Atlanta, GA)? What do I need to be looking for in terms of the battery for my S9? Help.

When you used the Goal Zero battery, were you using the AC household outlet (standard 3-prong) or a 12-volt cigarette adapter? The 12-volt should last much longer because you are losing quite a bit of power as heat byproduct changing DC to AC back to DC. Just a thought.

I plugged into the standard 3-prong outlet on the battery. I watched an online video for using the Escape for CPAP and that's what they showed for the ResMed S8 (old video). At that time, they said it lasted 2 nights (16 hrs) with no humidifier and at pressure 12. I know the ResMeds require some sort of adapter so I went with I saw. Like I said, I am pretty clueless re electricity.
