Hi SandyW, I am not an expert on machines, but as it was explained to me - BiPAP vs CPAP is that a BiPAP starts with lower pressures, and then over time, builds to the correct pressure. My machine is set to start out at 9 for inhale and 4 for exhale, and after 4 hours ramps to 14 for inhale and 9 for exhale.[quote][/quote]


Sleep study report

I too just had a sleep study and rec'd the report that I don't understand.

Obstructive apneas- 2 Nrem
Central apneas- 2 REM
Hypopneas 51 NREM and 28 REM totaling 82

Right side AHI- 5.7
Left side AHI- 13.0
Supine AHI- 8.7

Respiratory disturbanc index 10.2

Lowest SP02 90%
