I am thinking I want to try the airfit F 30. I think its fairly new so you might not have an extra. I have the medium frame for the dreamware that was to big on me if you would like me to send it to you for the donations box.

You are correct...the F30 is so new that no one has given up on it and sent it to me for the donations box. I don't have one available.
And I never tried it myself (which I sometimes will do and then it ends up in the donations box because I hate something) so I can't comment on it. The headgear was a big turn off for me and since I don't just have to use a full face mask I didn't want to spend my once per 6 month mask (insurance allowance) on something that really didn't interest me.
Cpap.com does have the free insurance thing if you hate it but it's still pricey up front and totally coming out of your pocketbook especially with the purchase of the back up machine and the holidays coming.
If you know you won't ever be using the Medium DreamWear frame...just offer it up on the forum...cut out the middle man (me)
Never know...somebody might have something to trade with you that you could use and they can't.
If no takers after a period of time and you just want it gone then you could send it to me to put in the donations box.

I thought that might be the case.

January isn't that far away. Lol.

Love the F-30 it feels like it fits better. No rain out and no waking us up with its noises.
Screen shots from the last two nights. My AHI has gone way up. I feel like I am sleeping better though and the leaks are not waking me up. Do I need to bump the epap up? tighten down the straps? Is there any other data you would like to see?

Do you have large leak flags turned off? I don’t see large leaks on the graph.
But I wouldn’t worry about 2% of the night being in large leaks as long as I slept through it.
Yes a little more EPAP minimum to better prevent those OA and hyponea clusters.

So go up to 9 for a couple of nights and see how it goes ? I don't think I turned anything off in the settings. I will go look.
Thanks for all your help. I hope you are having fun in Vegas!
I am looking forward to trying the nasal masks you sent.

You’ve got LL turned off. I see it at the bottom left of your graphs. It’s red/black. Click on it to change to green/black.
Yes I would do 1 cm more for EPAP minimum. You might need more but 1 might also do a good job. I like small changes myself. Sometimes they surprise us and work well.
I bet you were on your back when it happened. You may not always sleep on you back much.
Might also be a combination of back sleeping and REM causing the need for more pressure.

Here is the data. I raised the epap to 9 and went back to my old flat pillow. Do I need to raise my epap more?

You too, huh? Pugsy, I just wanna give you a hug. Creepy? Sorry...
Keep us updated on the the mask trial - I'm also trialing nasal pillow loaners from Pugsy. I'll be tracking your progress with interest.

Fancy? Ha try expensive. Lol. Just my luck to be at high pressure and have to have the expensive one.
Did some playing with the N-20 while awake. Everytime I open my mouth all the air leaks out. This could be a major problem as I tend to have a problem knowing when to keep my mouth shut
Will see how it goes when I am asleep.

Here are last nights numbers with the f-30 I just can't get the leaks to stop. Even though I like it much better than the dream wear it may be going back. I guess next try would be the Amara View.... I've got another couple of weeks to decide. Last night was ugly.

Now that its the weekend will try the N-20 to sleep in, the opus I think its called is going to be a not likely. Just trying it while awake bugged my nose and made it clog up. I don't like the little prongs. Will give it another chance but will probably wind up washing it well and then sending it back to Pugsy for someone else to try.

Next time you go to take a screenshot, could you make the flow limitation chart smaller, (about the size of the current leak one) and then make pressure and leak bigger, enough that snore goes off the bottom, (your snores and FLs are pretty similar, so we can do without them both.
Also, if you have a chart with a tiny session and a huge amount of blank space, scroll down on the left panel, and turn off that tiny session at the start, so the main data will fill the space, instead of all the blank.
Make sense?
my impression is that you need a higher minepap.

Hi Palerider,
Like this?
screenshot-20181228-140247.png
I just bumped it from 8 to 9 and the leaks seem to be getting worse. How much more should I bump the epap?

Yes, just like that... that let's us (me) see better what the pressure is doing.
I'd probably go for 11 or 12 on minepap. trying to smooth out some of the jumps up and down on the pressure trace.... like, figure out about where it is when it jumps back up, and set the minimum just above that.
You can see exactly what the pressure is by moving the green line across the charts, and each one will have, in the upper left corner, whatever the reading is where the vertical green line is.
Your leaks *can* be good, most of the night they looked all right.

Thanks. I bumped it up to 10 last night and ahi went down the 4 something range. I will post the data a little later. I do not like the higher pressures so when I get used to the 10 I will bump it to 11 and so on. Hopefuly I won't have to go to high.
