Do you still have Kaiser through the ACA plan?
Yes, with outrageous and unaffordable deductible and no DME coverage except maybe for crutches if I break my leg.

But routine care is OK.
Every plan, ACA or not, if you’re not with an employer group, is outrageously expensive. I have never looked forward to Medicare more in my life. I am 19 months away and boy will my finances improve then!

Kaiser gives me outstanding care, so at least there’s that.

Think your looking at possible disillusionment there. I hear horrible things about medicare.

I guess a lot is what you compare it to.
Medicare has its limitations as does any health insurance plan but what you hear might not necessarily be the whole truth.
I have Medicare and while annoying sometimes...for the most part it does exactly what it says it will do and I haven't had to do without anything I needed or wanted using it.

If you ever want to have some questions about Medicare answered privately...feel free to PM me.
I have a feeling you maybe you have been misled a bit.

Maybe it’s the supplement vs Medicare itself. My wife just had a kidney transplant that went smooth as silk. She is also on CPAP and has doesn’t have issues there either.

My comments about being excited to get Medicare dealt with the COST of it itself. My current monthly premium for health insurance is more like a house mortgage. And the deductible is outrageously high.
