I think that's a little unfair... lots of people regain (maybe ? 80%) after losing and I doubt they all have apnea, though it's a valid theory, but blaming the 'victim' is a bit much.

Are you trying to infer that weight gain isn't an often seen side effect of obstructive sleep apnea?

Not at all... and it happened to me, if not to a great extent... I also think that for women at a certain age it's as much hormonal as anything... maddening, and very chicken or egg.

Losing excess weight is always a good idea.
The downside is that it can affect your mask fit, but not your need to wear one.
