The next question I have is the settings you used when in AUTO mode.
If you had a very low pressure in the lower range, then the machine would go down to the range below which you are controlled and there is an endless cycle during which your AHI would increase.
I think the lower number should be very close to your tirtated pressure and therefore you would not go below it and have apnea.
I think my ideal cpap pressure is probably around 13.
My apap is 9/16. I usually spend about 75 pct of ths night around 10 and very rarely above 14.
I would probably be fine with a set pressure of 13.
