OT:I can't send a PM

I just registered and need to ask Pugsy something. Site will not let me send message.

Small time delay in ability to send PMs and do posts for brand new accounts.
We had to do that because of spam bot attacks in the past.
You should be able to send me a PM now.

In case you have trouble getting my PM...I don't have the powers to fix your issue. Carolyn needs to be the one to contact and have her fix the issue. Most likely with a reset of your old account ID password.. Sounds like you are a victim of the forum software gremlins messing up the log in process. Your old account that you can't log in to...you did nothing to cause any action to be taken against you if that is what you were thinking. If that were to ever happen to anyone...they get a warning first and I have never ever seen anything from you that would even remotely warrant a warning.

You need a password reset to your old account and my moderator powers don't include that power. I can't mess with passwords and I don't even know what your email account is that is tied to screen ID account name.

Pugsy sorry to post this way I had ResScan on another computer that has since went down do you know I can contact to get the download link for ResScan 5.8 or earlier any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Sorry but new accounts have a lag time before they can send PMs.
We had to implement this a little while back because of spam bots. Minor inconvenience but much smaller inconvenience than a gazillion pages of spam bot crap.
