When I stuck a 64gig xd card in my vauto, it chugged on it for a bit, then reformatted it the way it wanted (less than 64 gig) and wrote it's files to it.

Yes, I was just going to say that - I have a 16 GB SD card that wouldn't work in my Resmed machine. My bro gave me an old 8GB one and it worked fine. DME then replaced the card for no cost.
