I just don't "get" how D.H. could not find info on trache reversal.
There are standard protocols for doing it (even pediatric);
but the initial surgery was usually done to treat a temporary or reversible condition.
If a patient gets a trache to avoid cpap, it is not likely the disorder leading to the trache will ever be reversed;
as those type of problems are almost exclusively mental--and permanent.
