To the OP.

If the problem persists, you might want to try the heated hose. It uses the special connector on the Dream Station and has quick release buttons. The downside is that it costs more.

Another alternative is to use a plastic connector. These are available widely and are inexpensive. See image below

I disagree with this opinion but then I don't agree with a lot of what DH says.

He apparently thinks hoses needed to changed just due to age. I on the other hand don't see the need unless it is damaged.
I had a S9 heated hose that went through 3 S9 machines and probably over 15K hours of use and it got retired only because I changed to the AirSense/AirCurve model line and those models use a different heated hose.

You guys can do whatever you are comfortable doing in terms of hose replacement but I don't see the need unless it gets damaged.

Maybe if we hooked all the XPAP hoses that are replaced that have nothing wrong with them we could hook all the landfills together so they could mix their off gasses. Jim

More wasteful stupidity from one of the forum idiots.

The *ONLY* reason to replace a hose is if it doesn't work anymore. (holes, loose ends, too stiff, etc).

I disagree. There is no need to disconnect everything every day. I now disconnect the P10 frame every couple of weeks to scrub the vents & soak the headgear. I alternate between 2 frame/headgear sets to give things time to dry thoroughly.

A heated hose, especially does not need replacement once a year. Hoses should only need replacement if they wear and start to leak.
