Anyone have amateur radio license? I'm extra class and might be fun to talk over HF. I only am able to operate QRP . I mostly operate 20 meters. Need to set up new antenna.
No licence, do have 2 @ 10 meter ham radios, I modified to 11 Meters, brand new in boxes never installed For car mount. I set them up and put them back in the box for storage, years ago. I was heavy into 11 meter modified side band cb, all that stuff setting downstairs. Left the tower and PDL 2, and Starduster, at the old house, jumped into building computers ect. Used to run 6665 low side, as HO-33. Straight radios no amps. Jim

I have my obligatory baeofeng radios. You don't need a license in an emergency.
Best I've done so far is Slovakia with less then 12 watts of power.

I do animal photography. I also go to cat shows, as a vendor and exhibitor. My current cats don't show anymore, so I have there for fun, and the spectators can pet them. I also go to pet events. Just went to Petpalooza yesterday with Regulus. He's a 20 lb Ragdoll cat who loves to go places, and he loves his stroller. He is also a good sport and tolerates costumes. He wore his dragon costume for the contest yesterday and won.

This photo was taken at home for an online contest, but it is the same costume.

Usually, they will stay focused on a treat or toy, so we can get them to look or move in the direction we want.

Baking cookies for the most part.
I bake 'em and give them away mostly to charitable groups.
350 dozen so far this year - looking to get to 700 dozen by the end of the year.
Wow that's amazing! Thank you for serving your community. Do you have a best cookie you make?
The best one is Orange Dreamcicle oatmeal cookie with white chocolate chips.
It uses filled Twizzlers with orange filling - I think its off the market now but I have a small supply for special occasions.
My other favorite is Bourben and Bacon flavored cookies. I'm experimenting with savory flavors to see what makes sense.

I consider it a jumbo, myself. But some Yamahas are a bit of a unique take on the jumbo. I think some people consider the LL series a "modified jumbo," or a "modified dreadnought," since it is sort of a cross between a dreadnought and a jumbo.

Which recording?

If you mean the first one, "Glorious Sincerity," the only instruments used were that LL-TA, two shaky-eggs, and a mini tambourine. I used the LL-TA plugged in to get the bass sound, and I tapped on the guitar body to get the drum-ish sounds. I used a sound-hole cover to get the brighter sound with a mic, then plugged it in for the panned electric sounds using the built-in chorus effect. I recommend never touching one unless you are ready to buy one. :-) Amazing instruments.

Ok. It sounds great!

I got over my GAS (guitar acquisition syndrome) a while ago.
I just plink around on my Martin 000-28EC now.
Only get the Thompson or Larrivee out once in awhile.
