That is about $70 every 3-4 months as the failure is always the same.
Using the same glue as you used, I was able to repair the most recent failure and it seems to be OK.
I'll try it tonight to see if the repair holds. If it does, that will save me over $250 a year in masks.
Update:
The repair lasted 4 days and tore at the exact same location.
Next experiement is to reinforce a new mask and see if it lasts longer than the 3 or so months I have been experiencing.

I just wanted to thank you for posting this. I've tried repairing my mask with duct tape, which did not work for me. I hope this silicone sealant does. At least until I can afford to buy some spare masks.

Most masks have replaceable parts--that wear out ahead of the rest of the mask.
Avoid buying a product that has proven to be incapable of withstanding your normal use.
Please let us know what model/size of mask you use.
Somebody on the forum might have a spare to share.
