Pretty sweet.
How is your sleep quality and how are you feeling during the day?
Bear in mind that we don't sleep the same each night....different positions...more or less REM...whatever
So there is going to be some nightly variations from night to night and we don't go worrying about random fluke nights. We look for long term trends and patterns along with how we feel in general.
Those settings comfortable for you? I always like 3 or 4 PS better myself. Almost felt like no pressure at all and more like regular breathing.

I met with linecare and man was she irrateted that she had to order the mask that I wanted. I asked for the new dreamwear mask that has the hose at the top of it head. They said they just learned about it two weeks ago and had none on site. She made the comment that it takes less time to do a whole new set-up then to just order that mask.
I just smiled and thought just do your job please. She kept trying to sear me to full face masks that they have on hand but I knew what I wanted and so I made her order it.
So in a few days I will have my hose and new mask with head gear. And if it does not fit I will take it back and make her order a new one.
She did not even look t my machine because she said it was old and no idea how to set it. I told her it was already set and the price on it could not be beat.
They had a bit of an attitude but on the flip side they were ble to get the approval from my insurance company in time to take advantage of my insurance. I am sure that was just so they could make another sale and was not to do me a favor.

How often should I be cleaning my mask and tubing?
How do you figure out how much water is needed every night so that I don't let water sit or waste water by dumping it every morning?
Also since I will be on the road in a truck using my cpap what do you recommend I do about cleaning and drying my mask and tubing?

The parts of the mask that touch your face should be cleaned daily. The hose and other parts you can put off and clean once every 6 - 12 months.
At home, using a measuring cup, fill your tank about half full and keep track of the amount you put in. The next morning pour what you haven't used back into the measuring cup. Do the math. Now you have an idea of how much you use each night and can fill accordingly. I would suggest you add a little extra to act as a buffer.
On the road use baby wipes. No drying needed and convenient.

I had a conversation with mom two days ago and she was asking me how my CPAP was going. It was obvious that my mom was at some point diagnosed with sleep apena but was not using her device. When i first was searching for a device i asked my mom if she knew someone with a device i could get and she volunteered her device that she said has been sitting in the closet. At that time I did not go into why are you not using it...why is it sitting in a closet catching dust.
When mom opened up the floor by asking me about my therapy I was able to give her the speech about how she is shorting her life by not using it. I am so happy to report that she has scheduled an appointment with her doctor to get a new sleep study done and has promised to use the device. So i now have a family member that will be part of my CPAP support and we can both keep each other on track.

I just top it off every morning and use around 6 to 7 oz a night. But I can see where you would want to empty it every morning.

I ordered my heat converter kit the same day that lincare ordered my heated tube and mask. I received the converter kit today but still have not received my stuff from lincare.
I don't understand the hold up. I did not pay for fast shipping. It came by FedEx ground....driven all the way here from Washington state.
I guess I will be on the phone with them to track my package. I was going to do a video on converting my machine but now I have to wait until who knows.
