This seems like so much overkill. It is pointless.
The only reason for this is if I am unconscious, in a hospital. If that is the case then they already know to use distilled water. They already know they need a mask to go with the machine, they already know that a machine can run without a humidifier. As someone who used to work in healthcare I would give this a hard eye roll if someone came at me with this nonsense.
True story, I was in the hospital, and the respiratory therapy dept kept sending someone around (over my objections) to "make sure I'm using my cpap, and help me" my own cpap... so, one night, one of 'em comes in,
RT:"Are you using your cpap?"
ME:"I'm not sleeping, so, no"
RT:"Are you going to use it?"
ME:"Yes, every night, like I said the last 5 times I was asked"
RT:"is there anything you need?"
ME:"Could you check to see if it's got enough water?"
RT: goes and looks at my s9... "where does the water go?"
ME: "get out".
They know THEIR behemoth equipment... consumer stuff, not necessarily.

Do not use distilled water that is sold in a petrol station; it contains battery acid!
Where on earth did you come up with distilled water at gas stations containing battery acid? That is most certainly not the case in the US.
Because stupid.

You guys are rough... geez. I dont do lists but wish i did because it sucks to forget things. I do believe writing procedure saves time in the long run especially if you are fortunate to be able to delegate to work to others (i.e. an assistant).
Nothing wrong with lists!
Now people that write lists for a trip and then plan in writing every waking hour during said vacation need to relax and live a little

I have a complete machine and mask set as my travel and backup set. So, I don't need a list. The only things not in the bag are the extension cord and distilled water. I keep a surge protector extension cord in my suitcase. I would assume a hospital could figure out how to plug in my machine. My distilled water always goes in a bag I have for my car ride supplies. I use reusable water bottles to hold my distilled water. They stay in that bag, so I just need to refill them.
I do make packing lists for my trips, but that is for the smaller details. My cpap makes the list of items that go in the car, such as:
3 cats
luggage
cpap / laptop
camera bag
cat supplies
kitty litter box
cooler / ice / food
etc
In other words, grab both bags.

I love that the cats are at the top of the list!!

I like the idea of having a pre-made CPAP back all ready to go and telling your partner or family member about it or alternatively having a CPAP packing list ready and going over it with someone so they know what they would need to pack for you if you couldn't do it for some reason. That's a really good idea.

In case of an emergency, there would be no time to put the right stuff together,
so a "bug out" kit is a better idea than lists, especially for the cpap side.
With the advent of tornado season here, we are urged to assemble
an evergency evac. kit, including food, water, batteries, medicines, etc. for 3 days.
Since we were flooded in 2015, not being ready is just plain stupid.
