Mussolini is one of your guys, NOT mine! I believe the complete opposite. I believe in a lot less government power and certainly not a fascist or socialist one in which the government helps or runs big business or one in which one man or even the governing elite (that know what's better for me than I do myself) control everyone and everything. If you think there are problems with our health system now, just imagine what it would have been like with Hillarycare.

Why you use past tense on that? Hillary kicked off her campaign in my neck of the woods just a couple of weeks ago. Obama was here just yesterday - saying much the same thing . . . In person, he doesn't look bigger than life . . .

The next two years here are gonna be a zoo. .

Regards,
Bill

Firstly : Guest : You maybe should applies to the NASA martian program.

Secondo : Canadian ... French AND English Canadians are the BEST friend of you, American... Ok!

French French are also Allies to America... The only thing that make French French esitate it is because the war the USA Allies do in Irak, Afganistan and probably Soon, Iran, is very very close the her!! Their is a major danger of nuclear war in the region of the Iran, Syrie etc... and I think that French French are really scared... You'll probably react the same if you were in their shoes...

Yes I am concerned about Hillarycare for the future. Just as the Italian railroads were screwed up and Musolini took them over and made them run on time, Hillary sees a problem in our health care system. She wants the government to take it over as she KNOWS we need to be saved from the evil hospitals, doctors, DME's and especially the drug companies. The real problem is her solution will make the problem worse. With her solution there would be few to no new drugs as there will be no money for the R&D, and no possible profit from making the next miracle drug so no one will have either the money or the willingness to take the risk to develop them. So don't expect a pill to cure sleep apnea if her plan succeeds.

Anyone who thinks Musolini is closer to conservatism than to a liberalism does not understand what I mean by conservatism and certainly does not understand that libberals want to take over and run not only our lives but also significants portions of our economy.

As for Canada, we appreciate the Canadian troops who are fighting alongside ours in Afganistan. I deal with Canadians everyday and they are good people and good friends to the US.

I only wish your prime minister, Steve Harper could and would run for US President as he would be far better than any that have announced so far in either party.

I'm sorry to add another 'hit' to this article, but:

I WANT TO PUBLICLY APOLOGIZE TO LINDA3032 FOR MY PERSONAL REMARKS, WHICH WERE UNNECESSARY AND OUT OF PLACE,
AND I AM ESPECIALLY SORRY TO HAVE HURT HER FEELINGS.

The above is an example of what is necessary when someone (me) reacts to fodder without thinking.

I am truly sorry, Linda.

Now that takes, guts, Sadie. I admire your thought and your words.

Thank you for that, but it took something else - a second look at the impact of a knee-jerk reaction to something I really wasn't that well-informed of....and a very generous friend...and, thankfully, a conscience.

Eric, I did a lot of soul-searching, with a conscience biting me all the while.
I found out that I hurt the feelings of a valuable person. I didn't like that I had done that. I need to curb my reactions to some things, think twice, then wait an hour. But not now...if your poll offended Linda, it most likely would have offended me also! Too bad I hadn't given her the benefit of the doubt then. Kathleen. Sadie is not needed, and is no longer with us.

As per our private PMs, I have more than accepted Kathleen's apology for any hurt she may have caused.

The issue is over and done with.

Paraphrasing the Wizard of Oz, "Hail, hail the witch is dead, the wicked Sadie witch is dead".

One man's ground kissing is another man's humble and considered apology.

And so it was.

May this thread RIP.
