This is exactly what was told to me by my DME and I'm pretty sure I signed something saying i understood the requirements. The only thing different is how the machine is paid for.
The standard medicare (and most insurance) policy is to have you rent the CPAP machine for the first several months (13 for medicare, 10 for many private insurance carriers) and you do not own the machine during that time.
If I understood correctly, my Insurer rents the machine for the 3 month "trial" period. Over the next 9 months they pay for it and then at the end I own it. I'm 100% covered so I don't see anything on the money end.

You guys rarely see that stuff but I do. They don't anymore use the equipment than my dog does. They just play the game.
Which CPAP machine does your dog use, Pugsy?

The wraparound full face mask would be interesting. That breed has a BIG mouth for its size.

And every passing day, people make it easier for us to become more so!

Oddly, the poster's activity (only ONE post, in toto) seems to be limited
to that time favored by the spambots.
Note: at that wee hour, I am usually asleep.

My doctor knocked me out and took a video of my colon. Bastard.
I'd let him do that every night, if I could get sleep like that Propofol they use gives a person, LOL
That propofol is great best sleep I have ever had when I went in for an endoscopy. I used to be a pharmacy technician at a hospital and delivered it to ICU and the OR. We used to call it milk of amnesia, it can cause people to forget stuff right from even a little while a couple of hours before they went in for the procedure and the large ones look like milk bottles.
