Hey, DSM. I really enjoyed the trivia! I notice you're using the Puritan Bennet bi-level. How about some trivia on them?? The Resmeds and Respironics are so well known and used ....

The HC233 and HC234 CPAPs use the same heated humidifier as the HC150. The CPAP water chambers have the input connector on the side (back) of the chamber whereas the water chamber on the standalone humidifier has the input connector on the top of the chamber. Both types of chambers have the output on the top.
Don't let the water chamber run dry while you are sleeping, the odor can be horrendous.

Yeah, but .... since being introduced to the world of CPAP software and readers and the data they can provide, I'm ashamed to admit I'm as interested and curious about the data and software the other CPAP manufacturers have available as I am the machines themselves.

The 330 is quite stylish and attractive, isn't it? It never ceases to amaze me how much they can crowd onto one little "circuit board"!What really boggles my mind tho is how much "intelligence" they can cram onto a 'puter chip!!! Who'd a thunk back in my 20's or even 30s ..... ???
Boy, the museum pictures REALLY bring home the size differences thru the years! I don't pretend to understand all the components and parts of the 330 and 420 pictured but was proud of myself for recognizing a few pieces!!!

hello
I'm new to this site. Not sure how to navigate it.
I have the same model hc221le. I found the nobs as described. The large knob on the left easily pulls out and it appears to be some sort of port. The small knob to the left will turn but nothing happens. It will not push in or pull out. I tried everything I could think of and fear any more force will break it.
help.

Yes there is a small door on the right bottom edge & IIRC the right knob can be pushed in & it springs out (I think) & can be turned left or right to adjust the pressure. Then push it back in again.

#2 PS, I found the HC221LE to be a great machine. The blower is rock solid & there is no variation in the blower noise that I could notice, when breathing out.
Here are some pics of one dissassembled (should show the panel where adjustment is done)

My machine does have the key showing, so I guess I'm screwed.
More about making money than existing for the customer I guess.
Hope I don't fall asleap and kill someone driving while I wait to get into the mother may I change my pressure people. I've only been on a CPAP for 10 years. I have put on weight and I know I need more pressure as I am dead tired agian. It's not like I'm a monkey that cannot keep his hands off of a knob. Just venting my frustration. Thanks.

Maybe not. Mine is supposed to be locked too (the little key symbol is showing) but the trick is to not turn the knob until the machine is turned on and the little display door shows the pressure you are set at. Then you can turn the knob and adjust the pressure or at least I can with mine.
