I'm not questioning your priorites. But others might, especially an American doctor asked to write a prescription for an xPAP for you on the basis of that "letter of diagnosis".

However, DreamStalker has given you the BEST advice: call the people at cpap.com at their toll free number and ask them what all you need to order a machine for a patient in Ireland?

It sounds like IF your "letter of diagnosis" DOES recommend a machine with a pressure of 10 that may well be sufficient for cpap.com! Do you have that "letter of diagnosis" in your possession already?

Hey- I live here in Vegas. I would suggest a copy of your script and there are about 15-20 DMEs here in town. I think that you would be able to rent a machine from one of these DMEs. I'm at work right now but if I get a moment I'll place a couple of calls and see how easy it would be to rent a machine and which DMEs provide this type of service.
But I agree- cpap.com sounds like the best answer

Sadly, one of my very favourite companies to work with was in Vegas but apparently shut down.

I called them once to refer a patient to them and found the number disconnected. Big sad face.

No one else I know out there knew them well enough to know where they went. They obviously just went out of business but I would have loved to find out where they went or what they were doing.

Was a real shame. Mom-n-Pop outfit. Always very very cheery on the phone and really went out of their way to take care of folks. In other words, the sorts of people I love sending patients to!

One of the best places in Las Vegas is State Medical Equipment on Sunset Rd and Sandhill Rd they sell a Resmed and Respironics Auto system with a Mask for 995.00 + tax you cannot find it this cheap anyplace else. It is also close to the Las Vegas Strip.
