For what it's worth. If you thought the 20 was a bit noisier it probably was..

My problem is the noise from vent air hitting the pillow not air escaping the vent holes. The new design #63494 seems like ResMed's attempt to make it quiet may have an added benefit of diffusing the outgoing air so it will hit the pillow less forcefully.

I just looked at the one I have here and it is the *quiet* elbow version... seems to be the standard on the ones shipped now ..

What country are you in? I live in USA, and cpap.com said they did not have them yet.

I am in BC, Canada . . I use the P10, so if anyone wants this mask let me know .. It's never been used, just out of box ...

I'm not seeing the extra ring on your F20 elbow as shown in photo labeled ResMed F20 Elbow #63494.png.

I was going off the photos on the first page .. nevermind.. carry on ... Either way I just hooked it up and it's not loud at all...

The main thing, save your old masks for parts, and keep two spare new ones in stock. Jim

I ordered one and if anyone wants to know my opinion after I receive it, I will certainly let anyone who asks know.
I am hoping this will help enough for me to actually use my bipap. I have been at it three years and haven't given up yet. I think this will be it. If this doesn't work, I'm done. I have a deviated septum, so I cannot wear a nasal mask as I must breathe thru my mouth. My option is a full face, and I've tried almost every kind that is available. The ResMed F20 Infinity Mask has been the best so far. Even the memory foam one didn't work. Maybe it's because the pressure is too high, IDK. Oh well....

Have you tried the Amara View or Dreamwear full face mask? Both are full face masks that fit under the nose. I had my deviated septum corrected about twenty years ago and have never regretted it.
