Welp... I'm on line again. Just looked.

When someone goes offline it's never instantaneous to reflect on forums. It may be a setting but I'm not familiar with this software. I've seen it range from forum to forum, some show people still online even after an hour of logging out.

I'm online and not showing at the bottom and also not receiving any email notification when a post is made in this thread and I have the little box checked. I also notice there is a lot of empty space to the right of our avatar before the post starts.

Well for me the jump to unread posts is now working correctly. It seemed to have issues on posts i’d Read during the cutover. I could select jump to unread messages at the top of a thread if the red page did not work most strange.

Yes, same here; and then I used "first unread post" at top of page 1, which worked. But it would be nice to have the one-step way, directly from the red box on the index page, enabled again.

When multiple pages are involved it still stakes me to page 1. It's a bug that will eventually get sorted out.

on posts now, it doesn't show the original poster. well, it DOES, but only the avatar of the original poster. which is fine i suppose, but i only know four avatars offhand, chicago granny, chunkfrog, palerider and pugsy. will we eventually see the names of the original posters, like we used to?

also doesn't show date of original post, which was handy because i'm not interested in posts from 2010.

I'm seeing avatars, names and dates also. I use Firefox.

I don't like "Notifications". I think it's useless.

You can alter the settings in "Notifications" so that it essentially is turned off if you wish.

Notifications tell me when I am quoted.

chromebook and chrome browser. will try with another OS and browser and see if it makes a difference. will prolly use ipad with safari.

ETA it's not the browser per se. i have my chrome browser zoomed in so things were overwriting other things. zoomed back out and it's fine. however, on the old forum software, zooming in made no difference to the format.

i hope that there is a way to have all the text AND zoom in at the same time!

I do not recall the list of users browsing the forum ever being identified as anything
other than by member names or "guest". Now the bots are named.
