Problem is that the links for the threads now open in new tabs as well.
It saves having to open the index page again after reading a thread. #accustomedtomultipletabs

I have no idea what you are talking about. I only have one tab...
What steps are you taking when you are done with a thread? I go back to the main forum page and then click on another thread..and I get just the one tab.

What browser are you using?

I'm using chrome on Android phone. If I click a page number it works normal but thread titles open new tab

Ahhh...Okay....I see what you mean now. I rarely ever use the clicking on the page number thing but you are correct...I just tried it and I got a new tab with each of the couple that I just tried.
Not sure if that is a big deal or not. I do think it is a new thing though.
For me since I rarely every use the page number to go anywhere it's a non issue for me. If I do I can just close out the tab easy enough.

For me clicking on page numbers takes me to thread without new tab. Clocking on thread title opens it up in new tab.

That's what I meant...I went to page 500...then I clicked on 3 threads in page 500 and each time I got a new tab....so 3 tabs.

The "open link in new tab" setting has changed for the forum, probably an obscure setting buried within the admin control panel. Not a fan of having a new tab for every thread opened, and this is the only one I read that is behaving that way, though I did find a way to override the site/forum's setting with a Firefox setting. I would imagine anyone on a cell phone would be struggling to navigate the tabs since the "back" button usually goes with the tabs themselves. Just another bug to add to the list.

Sorry what I meant was if I click on thread title on a thread on page 1 it will open in new tab. If I click on a thread thats on the first page but let's say the thread is 3 pages long, if I click on page 3 of that thread it works as normal.

Is there an easy way to search member names? I was looking to see if guest "Rukel" ever registered as "Rukel". Couldn't find an easy way to search the member names.

If you go to compose a new private message there is a link for finding a member.
I couldn't find "Rukel".

Ahh, a good trick.

Wondering why there is not a name search box on the members list. Seems basic omission.

Notification bug? I received a notification of a reply to both a new thread and a very old thread. The old thread is from 2016 and there is no CURRENT replies. Not a big deal, but seems to be a bug.

If this was discussed before, I missed it. Sorry. My vision is bad today.

That old thread notification may have been my fault so disregard it unless it happens again.
2 possibles....first one is there was a new reply in an old thread this morning and I saw a duplicate post. I swear I saw a duplicate of the same post so I was just going to clean things up a bit and I removed one of them but then something happened and it ended up that I removed the only post. Still not sure how that happened. It wasn't spam but just 2 of the same post contents.
So that changed may have prompted your notifications since I essentially altered the thread.
The post removed was made by someone who only has 2 posts so a newbie and I remember who it is and I will send appropriate apology.
The person wasn't asking for help though...was one of those "I experienced that also" type of comments. I can't figure out how to put it back.

The other possibility is that I have been cleaning up some bad words in some of the threads...where someone quotes someone who has said something really bad. Often the offending words get quoted in a response or by multiple people responding so I was doing some bad word clean up last night in some of those old threads and again since that is a change to a post/thread it may have triggered the notification thing.

So that may have been what triggered your notifications. If it happens again we might dig deeper.
