I would also like to have a link to the main forum page at the top and not just the bottom. Again just easier for me so that I down't have to scroll down a lengthy page to get back to the main forum.
I thought everyone had a link at the top to go back to the main forum. Mine is labeled Home.

Not everyone....I don't.

There's is nothing at the top of things to take me Home.
Maybe it is related to the fact that I turned the News section off so I don't see it.
But I had a link at the top and at the bottom back to main forum page before the software upgrade and the News sections was turned off then too. It's been off for years.

No buttons next to the forum logo at the top? Just above the line with your username.
EDIT I just turned off the news and the button is still there.

You may have to restart your browser. Jim

Ok done. Home and other buttons are still at the top
One other niggling bug. The quote and report buttons are too close together. It is too easy to select report a post instead of quoting it.

Nope.

Nothing up there sending me back to the Home page but I do have some other stuff up there relating to the Moderator functions so that might be why I don't have the Home button. Not a big deal. Old habits are hard to break but I can learn new ones.

Twice now this has happened, though with different users:
Note the username on the upper right.

So, you have the Home button & an alter-ego apparently. I guess those private messages are no longer private.
I have not noticed a different username but somebody else noticed mine once. A very troubling problem indeed. So is the silence from the developer.

That was me, and it happened again last night. It showed me logged in as you. The good news is that I was not able to access any of your information. But, it is still disquieting.

Thanks. We cannot be using the same Internet provider (Shentel cable modem here.). We are not even in the same state.
I do not have any secrets. Mainly exchanging P10 pillows, etc.

That first link is interesting. I wonder what a posting would show?
Somebody else posting as Pugsy would be dangerous in the wrong fingers.

Links used to automatically open in a new tab.
Soothest Sleep wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2018 10:32 am
+1 for both of these ideas!
I'll look into it, but in the meantime, the shortcut for opening in a new tab is to hold the Ctrl key while you click a link. This works with every site, and should work in all browsers.

Added to the list. If you hit the End key on your keyboard, it'll take you to the end of the page (the bottom).

Something odd happened to me last night. I was not logged in, but browsing through the latest posts using my android tablet, when suddenly the display changed and "log in" in the upper right corner changed to "prodigyplace."

It stayed like this as I kept browsing. After a few minutes, I clicked on the down arrow next to not-my-user-name and selected "log out." Curious. . .

The issue is noted, and I've moved it to the top of my list for this project.

I apologize for not responding earlier. I have several other projects that I am assigned to that are influencing my ability to respond to and resolve issues here. See relevant video:
