I haven't missed a year getting my flu shot in many years. It was mandatory in the military and I continued to get them after I retired from the military. I am over 70 and have asthma, so I consider them to be mandatory.

This flu is so nasty, you would want the shot even if it were not in the arm.
WHAT is going on!?

Hello everyone,
I just started back on my cpap machine, after a nasty bout with the flu, started the night of 2/13/18,well when I woke up in the morning I always look at the Phillips Dreamapper App,that goes with my machine, because for some reason it does not display on the face of my Dreamstation, the AHI that is,so looked at my App numbers for that night,AHI was 10.2,total hypopneas 92!i just about fell over, next night AHI 14.6,total hypopneas 175!,I'm not making this up,last night AHI 5.8,hypopneas 49,I call my sleep lab,the tell me it looks like I'm snoring and have been for awhile,my hypopneas have always been,14,30,26 etc,do you think anyone has ever called to say when think your cpap is not doing its job? NOWAY!my pressure started at 12,but i suggested to the DRs to raise it to 13,that where I am now!i see the PA tomorrow, any suggestions?

Just a thought, but a person can surely have the HIV virus and come down with other viral diseases. And there are many other examples of inactive infections not being in any way protective from other viral infections. Think chicken pox/shingles which are carried for a lifetime, yet we get all sorts of viral infections.
